In 2019 I had a ball valve installed to make sure I could shut off the water if need be. United Mechanical did a great job and it worked great as many of the other properties in the building had water damage during the big freeze that winter but not mine.
A week ago they completed an engineering survey and provided an engineering report and diagrams as part of a new HVAC install yet to be completed. Again a great job. Thanks to the engineer Hunter for the great work. I have found that this company provides high quality service.
In the midst of the freeze last week- no heat! Untied Mechanical was extremely timely, accurate, courteous, etc. Lindsey in office was more than helpful and patient; Clayton as well. This company has great people and you can tell they like their jobs and take pride in the work!! Big plus- they used to dealing with stressful situations AT AFFORDABLE PRICES! Thank you!
Gas company identified a small leak in the plumbing section coming out of the ground going into our home. Billed about 6 man-hours (master plumber + 3 helpers) & ~$750 charge to replace a 1' section of that pipe. No digging or anything else. This seemed like an excessive bill. In the end, the gas company required inspection to turn service back on. United Mechanical ended up rolling 1-2 trucks out here at least 3 times to handle the repair, testing & inspection and a minor code compliance upgrade. The end bill was 8 man-hours and $1077. Neighbors had comparable leaks and charged multiples of my bill. So 5 stars is fair.
