The baking element in my oven burned up (literally!). Thought I could probably replace it myself sooooo! I called Adam the Answer Man with the part number. Steve was quick to determine whether it was in stock. (It was!). The price was reasonable and in line with what was available on line. I arrived to pick it up and he had it on the counter waiting for me.
When I told him I was going to replace it myself, he very kindly offered a couple of helpful tips.
While there I recalled how permanently ugly my drip pans were(or whatever they’re called) and asked if he had those in stock. He did so I got those too! He wished me well and sent me on my way.
I’m now replacing the element! Wish me luck!

He has been my go to since I bought the house in the 90s. He has saved me 5 times. My AC went out today and fans inside and out were running, but no cool air and I couldn’t hear the compressor. I suspected the capacitor and called Adam the Answerman! He agreed with me, I gave him my model number and he said he had one that would work. I went up there bought the part, Showed him photos of my unit and verified how to to replace it, then went home and did it in a few minutes. House is cooling down now, so I called and cancelled my AC guy who was going to try to swing by. He has saved me with my AC 4 times and with my dryer once. I love this place!!!!.
Well Adam the Answerman has done it AGAIN -saved me from having to replace an appliance that could be repaired by me or me and my husband. No outside hired labor, no overpriced replacement parts. Just accurate diagnostic help and fast/fairly priced parts.
Over the past 25 years I have fixed my own clothes dryer, oven (2x) and dishwasher (2x) with his help. I have also been able to save money for older neighbor friends who just needed a new heating element in their ovens - not a new oven.
