We were very hesitant about crib training our son, especially because he was only 6 months old. After discussing it with our pediatrician and learning more about the process, we decided to give it a try.
To our surprise, he adapted much faster than we expected. The first few days were challenging, but by day 5 he had largely adjusted to sleeping in his crib independently. Even now, there are occasional nights when he cries, but it is usually for less than 10 minutes before he settles himself back to sleep.
