“On the one hand, I am not happy about EssilorLuxottica having bought virtually all of its rivals and optical retailer chains, becoming the de facto monopoly it its market, and now charging exorbitant prices for its Varilux lenses. But the fault for that lies with our incompetent, captured government anti-trust regulators, not with a corporation, which exists to maximize shareholder value. Anyways, I recently emailed EssilorLuxottica with an issue, and was impressed with how a Consumer Care Supervisor named Suzanne Allen resolved it with impeccable integrity, empathy, professionalism and excellence. The 5 star rating is for her, who should be promoted. The higher up she goes, the more customers EssilorLuxottica will win over, despite its ridiculous prices.“
