Excellent service from setting my appointment over the phone, checking in with the front office staff, new patient paperwork completion, pre eye examination procedure, eye exam with Dr. Johnson and post exam follow up. The service at Dr. Johnsons office is UNMATCHED. The professionalism, courtesy and promptness is very refreshing. As a manager, Dr. Johnson has reminded me of the value of hiring based on people skills, personality and culture. These qualities can make or break a company and atmosphere. Because of the level of professionalism and the sincere humanistic approach in this office, I will continue driving 30 miles each year under Dr. Johnson's care. Thank you...read full review

Can I just take a moment and RAVE ABOUT THIS PLACE! I'm so impressed by this office I'm writing an unprompted, unsolicited review.In the last week I have:1. Raved about how professional YET personable Dr. Johnson is.2. Raved about how amazing her staff is (Sarah is like a warm hug personified ? ?).3. Raved about how after LITERALLY 3 DECADES of striking out with brand after brand of contact lenses Dr. Johnson FOUND A BRAND THAT I CAN WEAR ALL DAY! I'm wearing them now and I'm shocked at how comfortable they are ?4. And lastly how quickly they turned around my new prescription eyeglasses.I've said all of the above ll in the last 7 days!! Everyone here is so easy to work with. I get nervous at doctor's appointments, but they took great care of me! I had a little trouble with my trial pair of contacts (not their fault) and they got me a new pair right away. They handled everything with my insurance. I will definitely be back!

Dr. Tyah Johnson is a therapeutic and glaucoma certified optometrist, born and raised in Lubbock. Having worn glasses and contact lenses from a young age, she has always been interested in vision and eye health. While attending Texas Tech University, she worked in a private practice which inspired her to pursue a career as an Optometrist. She earned her Doctorate of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, IL. During her studies, Dr. Johnson completed externships in ocular disease in Brooklyn, NY, contact lenses and dry eye in Austin, TX, pediatric and vision therapy in Springfield, MO and low vision in Wheaton, IL.
