About Lone Star Family Health Center
Lone Star Family Health Center is a clean and organized facility with friendly staff who speak their patients' language and provide professional service. The dental office is praised for their gentle care. Dr. David Nguyen is noted for being informative and showing sincere concern for babies, while his assistant, Mrs. Sussetti, is recognized for her helpful and personable approach, especially with children. The center is currently constructing a new addition. However, there have been concerns about the helpfulness of the on-call doctor during non-emergency situations. Despite this, patients appreciate the care they receive, noting great service from staff like Mrs. Krystal, Sheila, and Gustavo, who are described as compassionate and respectful. Overall, there is a suggestion for improved availability and assistance from the on-call doctor.
My Mom's doctor is Dr. Gage Hallbauer in Bronze Clinic. We love him and his team so much. The best doctor we have ever found. He's very kind, patient and takes his time to answer all our questions or concerns. My Mom's health improved each time we had a follow-up. We feel so comfortable communicating with him just like talking with an old friend. We can't recommend him enough.
I just recently got the insurance for where I work, and my legs were bothering me for two different reasons. I went to this facility today, and for the first time, and I was very satisfied with my visit.
Everyone that I had come in contact with was very nice, and Dr. Hossain, DO was very patient and kind.
I would definitely recommend this facility. :)
They were okay for basic care like annual check-ups and routine lab work, but communication could be improved. Lab results are typically mailed rather than discussed over the phone unless you reach out yourself. When I did call with concerns, I was able to get clarification and recommendations.
However, for more specific health concerns or specialist-level care, I personally felt I needed to seek additional help outside of this office to get more thorough guidance. Overall, my experience was mixed—fine for routine visits, but I would recommend doing your own research or considering a specialist if you need more in-depth care.
