My son has been attending classes for 8 months. In this time he has grown tremendously. He is more focused, excelling in his school work, and overall more respectful. I’m excited to continue watching him grow and progress through the program. I highly recommend these classes for all genders and ages.

The attentive, disciplined, and supportive instructors create a positive environment where students can progress through the belt ranks. The center is praised for its welcoming atmosphere, both for adult and child students. The south Austin Tiger Rock is a taekwondo martial arts studio for all ages, which is extremely well organized with great communication through an app, texts, emails, and social media. The class times are convenient, and students may attend as many in a week as they choose. Tiger Rock takes learning taekwondo seriously, incorporating the work and discipline required to master the art, while making it fun and motivating for every age group. The center is described as a great place to learn martial arts, with a wonderful community of families and an extremely welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Highly recommended by both current and past students.

As a family, we love Tiger Rock of Oak Hill! My daughter started last year and my husband just joined.
We chose Tiger Rock of Oak Hill because:
The academy and dojo are always clean;
Mr. Maddox and his team are always prompt and available to answer any questions (phone and emails);
The curriculum is crystal clear and both learners (and parents) know what to expect;
The classes are rigorous yet fun;
The instructors have their own personality but they are respectful and consistent in their expectations.
During the strict confinement during which there were no in-person classes, our daughter struggled to keep being motivated and the team supported her by coming up with creative help so she can continue her martial arts journey and we are grateful for that.
Kudos to Mr. Maddox, Ms. Lucy, Ms. Tyler and the rest of the team for creating a safe and nurturing environment to learn Martial Arts. Our daughter is thriving there. You rock!!!
We are lucky to have found this place. They go above and beyond to give kids a positive environment to hone their skills. Mr Maddox and Ms Lucy genuinely care for the kids and provide excellent opportunities for kids to flourish physically and mentally. They make it fun yet inculcate discipline. Kids always look forward to attending lessons. It surely is a happy place for my kids.
