Tuhon Ray Parra and instructors Ross, Tiffany, and Blake are skilled and caring instructors. Spending time learning martial arts is fun and joyous. The skill and confidence gained in training positively impacts other areas of life. I am so grateful for the teachings and wonderful camaraderie, support, and fellowship of our school. A positive and wholesome way to train body, spirit, and mind. Thank you Ray and Ross for your guidance.

Training with the Parra Academy has changed my life! Don’t wait to show up for yourself and get to class!Watching Tuhon and his mastery, applying the skill he demonstrates and being able get into a flow with it makes me feel so dang inspired.This is no doubt a family and I am grateful the world aligned me with them. I love going here and the master and instructors are very knowledgeable. I've tried plenty of other places and they seem more oriented towards fitness/exercise, so there's no actual focus on technique. But here they actually train you how to do it right, and will answer all your questions and how it pertains to the real world.

We I operate a small class out of my garage studio and group Kali classes in the park. The students who train are hand selected by me. The goal of the school is to teach self defense through the Martial Arts with the added benefit of fitness, fun, and cross training. I have students at an advanced level which help with the training of the beginner students. JKD classes are held on Tuesday, Thursdays and Saturday mornings are reserved for Kali. Other classes are BJJ and MMA held on Mon. and Wednesday. My class is usually filled but openings occur throughout each month.
