“When we first moved in, our backyard was just grass and weeds — nothing special, just another new-build lot waiting for some life. We hired Southern Love Landscaping to design and install an outdoor kitchen and full landscape using only Texas native plants and trees.

From day one, these guys were awesome. The crew showed up on time, cleaned up every day, and treated our property like it was their own. They worked hard, paid attention to detail, and wrapped up right on schedule — which is almost unheard of in construction.

We did run into a few pricing changes compared to some of the early contractor bids, but honestly, that’s just part of the game. The quality of the work and how it all came together made it more than worth it.

Now the backyard feels like part of Texas — not something dropped in from a catalog. Everything looks natural and well thought out, and the outdoor kitchen turned out even better than we hoped.
