Costco Vision Center offers a selection of unique and high-end eyewear brands. The store is noted for great interactions with its staff and optometrist, along with transparent and fair pricing. However, service can be very slow and some find the eyewear quality poor, though purchases are 100% refundable. A paid membership is required for admission and service. It is considered a good option for large families.
Costco carries unique products, like this flex hinge and flex nose piece. I can't tell you how many glasses I've destroyed by sitting on them. They also carry ultra high end brands like Versace, if you're willing to pay five hundred dollars for them
Slow as molasses service. Poor quality Eyewear. Good thing they are 100% refundable. The guy at the other optical place said I was the 3rd customer today that came from Costco to get their Eyewear done right.
I like the selection, prices and warranty BUT customer service is non existent. I called to see if my glasses are ready, they rather to spend 10 minutes on the phone making sure you know they are busy instead of taking 1 minute to check their computer. Took me over 2 hours to wait in line to drop off my prescription 8 days ago and still no idea if my order is ready.
