I traveled from out of town for this in depth sleep study. Vanessa was above and beyond in making me feel comfortable and ready for my tests. I can definitely recommend Dr Simmons and the wonderful Austin location.
The folks at CSMA have been so kind, responsive, patient, and validating. Christy in particular is an absolute angel. I'm so grateful to have found CSMA and to be getting tested as it's very possible I could have at least one type of sleep disorder. (The quality and quantity of the sleep you're getting can affect your life in so many ways!) You can really tell the people at CSMA are passionate about helping people find answers and get treatment. You just don't see that kind of care every day. These folks are special.
Communication has been a consistent issue. Phone calls are rarely answered, and messages often go days without a return call--if they're returned at all. Portal requests don't receive follow-up calls to confirm they're being addressed. I've been a patient for several years, and this has been an ongoing problem. In the past, the only way I've gotten updates was by repeatedly calling different extensions until someone happened to answer. Otherwise, I wouldn't have known my issue was being worked on. Staff are pleasant in person, but phone responsiveness and follow-through are inefficient. During a recent visit to pick up a sleep machine, the phone rang multiple times at the front desk without being answered while the receptionist remained at her computer. I've raised these concerns with my doctor on two separate occasions and was told management would be notified, but there has been no noticeable improvement.
