This review is long overdue. I was passing through Alpine on my way home to Austin after a long drive from Los Angeles. My soul dog Hazy began having repeated seizures on the road trip back which got worse once I hit Texas. I was staying the night in Alpine and called the Alpine Small Animal Practice first thing in the morning. They said to bring my pup right in. I saw Dr. Zac Dodson who was truly amazing. He prescribed something to help ease her seizures until we could get home to Austin to see our regular vet. I’ve considered coming back to Alpine just to get annual exams because it was probably the best vet care I’ve had, and I’ve seen alotta vets in my time. Just wanted to finally leave a review and say a huge thanks. Maybe will see y’all again sometime.
Edwin and his father saved our vacation. Driving through West Texas, our car started making an awful screeching sound. It was almost 5pm when we got into Alpine and most mechanics were closing. Acevedo's was open and made our repair a priority. We ended up staying the night in town and Edwin even ferried us to our hotel. He stayed in contact with us and updated us on our progress throughout the day. We were on the road late the next afternoon. The repair was sound work, and the price was reasonable for the extent of the repairs done. Muchisimas gracias!

We were staying in marfa (not recommended but that’s another story). Woke up to burned power cord and plug. We called and he fixed us up on the spot. Very sorry we didn’t get your name but thanks again for the fast service and excellent work

Jenny did a great job styling my mop of hair. She also trimmed my beard. Her personality is second only to her knowledge of her craft.
Great initial installation 7 years ago along with really good continuing support. As other roofing needs have come up they have been really quick to address it and have been easy to work with. We recently had a gutter get damaged and even though they didn't initially install it they still quickly came out and fixed it. Overall great customer service.

Amy does a great job with my nails every single time, I would recommend the powder. This is only the second place I’ve *ever* been to that has a technician that does my nails perfect every time. I get some variation of powder each time I go and could not complain if I wanted to. 10/10!!!

to get my step daughter flowers on her birthday delivered to school on the date: I have heard great things about this florist.
So with optimism I chose the “rose special”.

My daughter was blown away, and so was I.
Not only delivered on time to the correct recipient.

Construction stepped in and went above and beyond to fix those mistakes and keep our build on schedule. His attention to detail and commitment to quality truly transformed the project!
Dr. Beau Coggins helped me quickly in a critical situation. I was in a lot of pain and could barely walk- far worse than my usual 'outage'. He immediately saw what was wrong and did all the adjustments I was familiar with for my issues. After his treatment I was instantly about 70% better (after being jacked up for 3 days it took a bit to just recover overall) and was able to get on with my travels. I am so grateful to him and his office. It may be the only office in town, but there certainly couldn't be anything better.
Did my application online had to go in to sign paperwork. Staff is super helpful, the process was very quick and just overall great customer service.

Regina is probably the most talented dog groomer I have met. We moved full-time to this area this past Spring. Our dogs had been going to a high-end pet salon in North Texas before we moved...but after bringing my dogs to Regina, I saw an immediate difference.
Regina knows dogs. She diagnosed an issue with my senior dog that was confirmed by the Vet. She has been grooming so long, her understanding of our pets is vast.
Make an appointment, and drop off your dog. Whether you're a local or a visitor, Regina will treat you and your pet like they are part of her family.
Kelly Jo helped me for several years. Very good at her profession. I moved away , but sure was happy she was in Alpine when I was there. Thank you Kelly Jo for keeping me mobile for years!
U Construction undertook a huge addition and kitchen remodel for us in 2024. They remodeled and expanded our existing kitchen and also added an additional room. This was our first experience on a project like this and we couldn’t have asked for better service. The project managers and crew were knowledgeable, helpful, and supportive throughout the entire experience. Communication with their team was a breeze. Quality and end results were excellent. Honestly, the new space added to our home has overall improved the quality of our family’s time spent in the home. Our house is exponentially more comfortable and useful thanks to U Construction and their work. We truly enjoyed every step of working with their great team!

Ok not sure why people have negative reviews on this hotel , it’s a cozy hotel will a Texas charm. The restaurant next to it is top notch when comes to food . If you come to this place expecting commercial grade hotel experience you are the wrong place . It delivers Texas hospitality and great food . The only reason for the 4 star is the breakfast could b e a bit better but it gets a pass because of the vibe dining area . Overall great place to visits for the 1st time. May be next time I can stay to indulge on all its amenities.
Our wedding flowers were perfect! Exactly what we asked for at a reasonable price. They even delivered all the flowers to Marfa for us.
