About Hendrick Medical Center South
Hendrick Medical Center South is known for its professional and high-quality healthcare services. The staff is praised for their caring and excellent manner, particularly in the labor and delivery department. Nurses, such as Randy and Cindy, have been singled out for their exceptional dedication to patients' well-being. The facility is clean and well-maintained. Patients report that, even during busy times, nurses remain calm and check on them regularly, ensuring good care. The hospital staff consistently asks if patients need anything, making the experience positive overall. However, some patients have noted issues with the cable TV service, describing it as poor and difficult to watch. Despite this, patients are grateful for the attentive care they received from the staff, including great experiences in emergency care, outpatient procedures, and overall hospital stays.
A special shout out to Ms. Benavidez a financial representative at Hendrick. I believe God puts people in your path for a purpose. Unfortunately, my son recently lost medical coverage under my plan and is being treated for a medical condition. She was a blessings. She literally walked us through all the necessary procedures to obtain assistance. I will forever be grateful to Ms. Benavidez! She is the epitome of an excellent and diligent customer service representative and Hendrick Health is fortunate to have her.
I would like to recognize John from Food and Nutrition Services at Hendrick South. During my mother’s stay between June 15-June 21, 2026. John consistently provided exceptional service. He was always kind, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure she was comfortable. One day he even went downstairs to get her coffee and liquid creamer. Every time he entered the room, he was cheerful, helpful, and genuinely caring. His kindness made a difficult hospital stay much easier for my mother and our family. Please let him know how much we appreciate his outstanding service.
The care from the staff on the floor in the ER, was good, but the nurse that called me back to get you vitals and ask you questions before I went to a room in the ER was kinda rude. Like she would ask me stuff in then interrupt me from talking. So why even ask why I was there if you didn't want to hear it! If she doesn't like her job. Maybe it is time for you to quit, can not work in the health field if you don't care!
