I had an MRI with contrast today and was incredibly nervous due to my history of severe panic attacks. From the moment I arrived, I was met with kindness and compassion that I’ll never forget.

A sweet lady brought me back and could tell I was anxious. She gently put her arm around my shoulders and reassured me that everything would be okay. Her warmth and empathy were so unexpected that I nearly cried it meant more than words can say.

I had an MRI at 830pm. All of the staff, from the front desk - who has to come down stairs and let each patient in upon arrival after doors lock - to the MRI tech, and even housekeeper. The facility was clean. They had good security in place for my personal belongings while I was in the MRI. The MRI tech was very compassionate and explained exactly what to expect.

I am very claustrophobic and I was very anxious for my MRI at Vanderbilt Imaging at 100 Oaks.
When I got there I was trembling but thank goodness I got the rock star of Imaging technologists, Jason😊
He was so supportive and was able to put me through the tube feet first and even gave me a cloth to cover my eyes. Thanks so much. Give that guy a raise!
