“Dr. Shannon is memorable not only for the wonderful care he constantly gave to my precious dog Angel; but for his equal emotional consideration to me, the pet owner. His understanding of how to treat the pet and pet owner is beyond anything I have ever experienced in all my many years. I have not lived in TN for many years, but I never forgot him and how impressed I was with him. it may be that the current Dr. William Shannon is his son, and not the Dr. Shannon of years ago, but I am sure if that is the case, based on reviews I am seeing, this current Dr. Shannon learned well from his Dad how to be a caring, compassionate and wonderful Doctor. “I have nothing but wonderful things to say about McCormick Animal Clinic. Both Doctor McCormick and Dr. Hillary were so attentive and caring. Our senior dog Lazar got very sick with a respiratory infection. I couldn’t afford hospitalization, so Dr. McCormick said I could transport him daily and they cared for and medicated him - this was a last ditch effort. After 5 days of this impromptu acute care and hand feeding, Lazar turned the corner. A bit of a miracle and it’s given me an xtra few quality years with my best friend. I will always be so grateful!You can trust these folks - they’re exceptional.“

“I just wanted to say thank you again!! Y’all were so helpful, and made everything so easy. My sweet kitty had a pretty severe open wound that became infected. She had been hiding after it happened, and I was unable to get her into carrier for day & half even though she needed to go in immediately… but they were so kind & non-judgmental when I brought her in. I was definitely stressed, kept crying, and they never made me feel silly. They were so sweet to my girl! Even just after two days, everything is starting to heal, and am just very thankful for their help!“

“My family and I have been clients since they opened. Dr. Mobly Sr even put a cast on my goat's leg. I recently had a dog suddenly with no warning become critically ill. The only way we might have been able to find out what was wrong was through blood work and X-rays. I knew that there was nothing that could l be done. Dr. Hendersn was honest enough when I asked her if it was worth putting the dog through all that. She said some vets would have pushed to do more stuff to make more. money. She did not mind me calling to ask questions that I had been too distraught to ask. Then today I got the nicest car from Dr. Hendersn and that means so much to me. They have also upgraded and expanded“

“We have taken our two dogs and two cats to LUV over the last two years and cannot sing their praises enough. Every single tech and vet have been so kind and caring. They're intentional about listening, asking lots of questions to get to the bottom of an issue, and taking the time to make sure all the bases are covered. When we have taken our pets in for an issue we always get a follow up text the next day to check in. They usually are able to get us in pretty quickly and I love that I can just text them to get an appointment scheduled. Dr. Perkins and Dr. Walton have always taken the time to educate us and talk through all the options and alternatives for care. Vet appointments used to be pretty stressful for my pets AND me, but I seriously always leave with a smile and feeling a ton of love from their team!“
