“In January, we were looking for a new vet for our aging, almost 13 yr old chocolate lab, Bear. Based on reviews, we semi-randomly chose Healing Paws. From the moment we walked in our experience was beyond amazing. We loved Dr Laros-Beard! She was so helpful in helping us figure out the best plan for Bear. They treated him so well and were so knowledgeable. When we left we felt like we hit the jackpot! Little did we know that exactly one week later, we would be making an emergency call and visit first thing in the morning after our sweet Bear had a seizure. During the hardest of times and decisions, Dr. Laros-Beard and the entire staff went above and beyond as we said goodbye to our furry family member. We were allowed to take our time, love on him, and they took care of everything. Later we received a sweet package in the mail of Bear's pawprint. Then a couple of weeks after that we received a sympathy card, signed by their entire staff. We cannot recommend Healing Paws enough! When we get our next dog, they will definitely be our vet!“
“The staff and Dr. Zinkus are simply the best. Our 8 year old pooch had a bad case of sudden hives/redness, that led to frequent vomiting and urination. She was all itchy and did not sleep a wink for 24 hours. We were so worried as she is very healthy girl with no recent sickness or preconditions. I decided to take Paddy here as we just moved to this area.Dr. Zinkus and her assistant Lottie were amazing. Extremely thoughtful and thorough in their examination and procedure. Turns out Paddy had an Anaphylactic reaction to an insect bite. Dr. Zinkus took her time to explain the reactions, symptoms and provide medication for immediate relief.My dog is extremely shy especially at the vet but the love and care she received here in this clinic was the best!I strongly recommend Dr. Zinkus and her team for pet care in the Cordova area.“

“I just moved back to the area and chose this vet because of all the great reviews alone.I took 2 of my 3 dogs today for general exams/vaccines/nail trims. One of them is a little *feisty*, but they did so great with him. He could tell he was in good hands because he did not put up a fight when getting examined or getting his nails trimmed. I so appreciate them taking their time with him and making sure he was comfortable.Dr. Finley and all of the staff (front desk included!) were so great and kind. They were so gentle (now I see where they get the name of the practice) with both of my babies, from the exam to the vaccines and nail trim. My feisty dog actually has a skin infection, and they wouldn't do vaccines on him yet because of the meds he needs to take. To me, this further proves they care about the well-being of the animals, NOT about the money!The practice itself is clean, and the waiting area is large. You can tell they don't overbook, which is helpful for pet owners and the owners alike, as the waiting room and wait time are not stressful like at other places.“

“We first took our puppy here for his shots and we loved Dr. Opp and staff. One of my other dogs needed quick care for an allergic reaction. I made an appointment online in less that 2 minutes for the next day. They called to confirm. I brought her in to be seen. Staff went above and beyond to make her comfortable. She is not too sure of new people and she loved Taylor and the front desk staff. They even clipped her nails for me. We have another dog as well. We will be sticking with The Pet Hospitals Houston Levee & Macon for all 3. Thank you to all the staff for being amazing!!!“
