In January, we were looking for a new vet for our aging, almost 13 yr old chocolate lab, Bear. Based on reviews, we semi-randomly chose Healing Paws. From the moment we walked in our experience was beyond amazing. We loved Dr Laros-Beard! She was so helpful in helping us figure out the best plan for Bear. They treated him so well and were so knowledgeable. When we left we felt like we hit the jackpot! Dr. Herr is an excellent vet, the care and consideration for her animal patients goes above and beyond of any practice ive worked for or taken my pets to. For instance, did you know she has wall plug ins that emit pheromones into the rooms where cats are examined to prevent additional stress for feline pateints. Not only that, but she does not examine dogs in rooms where cats are examined to firther prevent the stress of them smelling one another. I personally worked for Dr. Herr before she opened her own practice and can tell you she learned from the things that bothered her and has made her practice so that it is better for the staff, pet owners, and patients. I have...read full review
