“I’ve always hated going to get my nails done. I hated the whole experience in general because of how awkward it was and how rough nail techs had been on my nails in the past. I’ve had a really bad skin picking issue since I was really young and I’ve always felt ashamed to go into a salon because of how embarrassed I was to show people my fingers. That being said, I’ve never felt comfortable getting my nails done even though having nails on was the only way I could stop picking at my fingers. Salons in the past made me feel ashamed and were super aggressive with my nails. I’ve been going to TLC since March and I can’t stop myself from coming back. “Have now had 2 seasons at 3 degrees. Loved both of them. Very relaxing and love that you can adjust the lights and the temp of the sauna.
A bit frustrated that mind body allowed me to book on Easter Sunday when they were closed and when I called to get my session back there was no apology or offer to “make this right”. The gal on the phone just said “yes you still have your session. Also wish the benches were longer so they were easier to lay on.
Otherwise , I’m very much enjoying the privacy of the sauna rooms.“
