The service was included as part of a new system purchase, but I’ll gladly pay to continue this level of service next year. As a side note, they’re also very modern with text message scheduling, updates and feedback available.“

“Mini-Split Specialists did a good job of installing the Samsung split system. All done in a day. Work was neat. Installers were friendly and quite competent.

They installed a similar system (another brand unit) for us over four years ago in another house and we were quite satisfied with the company, their pricing, and their staff.

The 5 star rating in this review is for continued satisfaction with the company and its staff and with the installation quality. Have not had enough experience with this new Samsung unit itself to have an opinion based on facts.

I've had mini-splits in several countries on three continents. They have all been OK; some better than others. Have not had a Samsung, so the jury is out on this unit until it has time to prove itself (or not). So far it is working as expected, but of course in the month of May it does not take much zip to either heat or cool. This Samsung unit has some features which others I've had have not had. The result is that the remote control device is overly complicated and not terribly intuitive. With time and experience that annoyance will probably be reduced.

Next year I'll return to this review for an update as appropriate.
