“On July 22nd, my husband and I were in Aruba on vacation & our son noticed that our 5 yo American Bulldog, Stoli, appeared to be bloated. He drove Stoli immediately to this location. The Dr agreed to FaceTime us on WhatsApp from my son's phone & explained to us how after giving him an x ray, the result showed a GDV and he needed Gastric Torsion surgery immediately or he would die. She explained that they needed a deposit of a very large amount (enough to cover the surgery and more) before they could proceed and there was no guarantee of the outcome. Of course we didn't hesitate, and thank God we had the ability to make the payment. Needless to say, we were a wreck and felt helpless because we were out of the country, but we were so blessed to have our son, caring for him. If he was boarded, he almost definitely would have died. The staff was super nice, patient and informative while we called several times to check in on him. The surgery went well and his incision looks great. We are very grateful for them realizing the seriousness of the matter and saving our boy's life! Also, we were reimbursed for any overpayment made, at time of the deposit.”
