“My experience with this business started with calling Natalia Merolle. She was quick to reply, gracious and informative. I explained the roofing needs were for my 88 yr old mom who lives in Murrells Inlet. My brother Chris and sister Virginia who also live in the area were the points of contact. My hours at the hospital were not conducive to being at her home. Mr. Merolle and his crew inspected the roof and submitted their estimate. My siblings said their plan was head and shoulders above the competition. After permission from the HOA they were able to start on the roof immediately... They also installed new gutters and removed the old skylight and put in a new one with an automated blind. Their clean up after completing the job was flawless, not a nail or roof tack to be found on the site. I would recommend this business to anyone that needs these services. “I don’t write many reviews. Exceptional service is deserving of my time to write a review. We used Weather Shield Roofing LLC for a new roof due to hail damage. The entire team was phenomenal in helping with a satisfactory install. Cory and Frank went to bat for us in working with the insurance adjuster. All damage to the roof was identified and the insurance adjuster was guided to the only logical conclusion, that we needed a new roof. Weather Shield did a fantastic job with support, planning, scheduling and coordinating of the installation of the new roof on our home. They additionally identified damages to our out buildings and worked with insurance to get the included in the insurance claim also. The roofing job went like clockwork. Everything occurred on schedule and there were no surprises. The cost was exactly as quoted, no deviations and no overage charges. The roofing crew was well managed and highly efficient. All residue was picked up, the grounds were walked and every errant nail was picked up. All shrubs and landscaping was protected with tarps and nothing was damaged. There was nothing for me to do but admire the finished product. The home ended up looking better than it did at new construction. The Weather Shield team has the work ethic that is longed for today but seldom found. A big thanks to Cory, Frank, Sean and Lisa for all their help.

Addendum. Moving ahead to Jan 2026 we added on to an outbuilding. We needed the same shingles to match. We contacted Weather Shield for help and Lisa reviewed their records and found the pattern we had used. But upon checking with all the lumber distributors in our area, that pattern / color was no longer available. We checked every where even call GAF corporate office who confirmed our color is discontinued and they have none in inventory. So I called Weather Shield and explained our dilemma. That is where things exceeded my expectation. Working with Lisa and Sean (the owner), they began a search. Within 30 minutes they located inventory that we needed and arranged for delivery to us less than 18 hours later. They are not the installers for this project. They just did this as part of their exceptional customer service, just to help us.
Bottom line, Weather Shield is beyond 5 star rating but that is all Google allows.“
