My parrot started showing signs of a respiratory illness this morning. I am new to the area and called about 10 different Vets seeking an emergency appointment. They all either did not accept birds or said they would not be able to fit me in until a later date. When I called On Point Animal Hospital they recognized the seriousness of a parrot respiratory illness and told me I could come right in. Even though they were very busy, I was able to see Dr. Todd Brown. He and his staff were wonderful! Also, they are very transparent with their pricing and you know exactly what everything will cost before they proceed. I highly recommend this animal hospital!
We are incredibly grateful to this veterinary team for taking care of our cat during an unexpected emergency while we were away on vacation. He became seriously ill and being out of town made an already frightening situation even more stressful. Ultimately, we were referred to a higher level of care in Wilmington where he had emergency surgery. Thankfully, he is home and has recovered fully.

Would just like to take a second to brag on the vets and staff at OnPoint animal Hospital, North. My dog was bitten by a copperhead last night. We went to the emergency vet and spent 5 hours for them to basically tell us to follow up with our primary doctor this week. I called the office First thing this morning and they were able to see my dog almost immediately. Their staff was so kind and took the extra step to make sure he was okay and stable when we first came in. The vet we saw actually got in the floor with my dog so he was comfortable with her, given how much pain he was in from the bites.
