“I went to the urgent care in Lake Wylie with a swollen eye from a Lupus flare. I asked for steroids. They wouldnt give them to me. Gave me an ointment. The next day my eye was worse and my jaw was swollen. Called them and asked for steroids. They gave me a strong antibiotic. The next day it was red and my jaw was painful. I called again at 10am and asked for steroids. They said I need to come in and be examined and they didnt have an opening until 2:10. So I looked up the Gastonia location and they had an opening at Noon. I went there and they immediately agreed that I know my body the best. They gave me a titration pack of steroids and within 30 minutes the swelling had gone down. Now its 7pm and my eye is almost back to normal. Thank you to the staff at Gastonia.
