Wow! Everyone was kind and helpful. Wesley, our physicians assistant, was WONDERFUL. He listened carefully and was clearly invested in helping my daughter with her illness. Thank you!
I didn't want to be one of those people who rushes off to the emergency room with a sniffle or with food poisoning, so I headed to the urgent care with my urgent health issue. I arrived just after 7pm and was told, "Oh, we don't take walkins after 7. Would you like to make an appointment for tomorrow?" I'm limping, I'm in obvious pain. So no, I would not like to come back tomorrow. Either you're open until 8 or you're not. I requested another Lyft ride and went to the emergency room. And yes, I'm fine now. My husband had a very disturbing bout of dizziness, falling over, and uncontrolled shaking attacks. The NP provider at this Urgent Care, Ms. Pritchett ,suggested that we see an infectious disease specialist because the symptoms reminded her of malaria. Long story short, she was right! He had been in Korea 50 years ago and some malaria had hidden itself in his liver. If Ms. Pritchett had not told us to go to that specialist, who knows where we'd be now! My husband had seen many doctors and no one could help us because it was not happening all of the time. He'd been in for all kinds of tests, with no diagnosis until Urgent Care! She was very helpful and professional!
