For the first time ever my dog Maxwell wasn't scared or anxious while at the vet. Dr.Johnson and her team never questioned my knowledge of dogs, or my knowledge of my own dogs and their mannerisms. I recently moved from Colorado and am so happy I found Compassionate Care as established a relationship with them! They did follow up calls to make sure Max was feeling great a few days after the appointment and to answer any questions we might have!“

“My dog loves the team and going to day play. I just wish the place was larger so they had more activities for the larger very active pups. Specially those who love to play with water ?. Still she gets very exited when she goes there.“

“Was in the area getting gas, saw the new Wayback Burger (not promoting them) placed a mobile order, thought to pass the time would checkout a new boarding place for my dogs. When I walked in this place was CLEAN, my regular kennel isn’t this clean. You can’t even smell the dog smell ya know. Since the place was so nice, I expected to be brushed off as a walk in tour. NOPE I was greeted promptly and was given the best tour by a hilarious woman! She really gave me all the information I needed and cracked some jokes really made me feel welcomed. “Visited today to help our dog with a temperament test to see if she would be allowed to attend day camp and boarding in the future. The staff was kind and attentive to us and answered all of our questions about the facility. During drop off we couldn't tour the facility since all of the dogs were inside for breakfast, but they were able to show us around the main facility when we picked up our pup. She had major zoomies (puppies huh) on pickup and seemed very at home. You can tell that the staff who watched her actually paid attention based on the report they gave at the end (nailed her personality haha).

Update 2 years later: We’ve loved Wags & Whiskers! Our pup went for a year straight one to three times a week. She’s older now and manages well at home and hasn’t been in a bit, but the staff there always loved her and she was happy to see them every time we dropped her off. ? The only concern is staff to dog ratio which I haven’t asked about since her first drop off & that was previous management.“

“We used Fluffs of Luv for the first time this past week. We had never left our sweet dog, Blue with sitters before and we were very nervous. I could not be more pleased with the entire experience. Felicia is exceptional-she came out for our consultation and Blue immediately loved her. The journal updates and pictures were great. They are very punctual. Bri and Melody were also great with Blue as well. Fluffs of Luv genuinely cares about making your animals feel loved. I cannot recommend Fluffs of Luv enough. We will definitely be using them again.“

“So lucky to have Top Honors! My pup has reactivity issues do to past experiences before we adopted him so finding a place for him has been challenging. They listened to me to understand him. They have protocols to keep their staff safe and my pup safe. They are always willing to try to help keep him comfortable. He was very scared to use the door but they put out treats to help recall him out to use the bathroom, put down turf to help, and washed his blankets if they got soiled.“

“We boarded our two little dogs and they had a blast! They were well cared for and we loved being able to see them via the webcam during group playtime. We were a little worried about our elderly chihuahua (adopted when a family member passed away) because she has never been boarded. She had so much fun - she threw a fit because she did not want to leave the group playtime! Thank you for taking such great care of our babies!“

“We are new to the Central Bark family, but we have been nothing short of impressed. The people that work there are so kind and treat our dog, Levi, as if he were their own. He gets so excited to go and literally whines to see all of his friends, human and furry alike. We also signed him up for training sessions, and the results have been immediate. I had some nervousness bringing him to daycare, but the staff helped reassure me and just seeing his excitement every day makes me so happy. He has utilized most of their services now and I could not recommend a better place for your baby. “They’ve been great with our adopted German Shepherd who can be quite timid at the vet. Our previous vet was so rude about our dog and gave me anxiety just bringing her in. Glad to have found Weddington instead.

We also had to put down our 15 year old dog and they were phenomenal. Took their time letting me have a moment, gave him a final treat of chocolate and cookies (all the things he never got to have), took paw print molds. So kind and understanding.“

“Excellent experience! Very organized, wonderfully detailed notes to update us every day on how our cats were doing, really nice facilities.

Cons: extremely expensive, and we wished they could have been more flexible on timing for pick up day.
