“I was visiting and couldn't get rid of a sinus infection. Wait time was short and staff was wonderful!!!! Fixed me up quick and sent me on my way. Suggested using pharmacy next door as quicker than CVS. He was a delight and had me ready to go in 10 minutes. Wish I could move this office to Rhode Island and if I lived local would use them for regular and urgent care! Thanks so much 😊😊😊“

“Edit: my previous review was after an upsetting encounter with someone from billing. My office experience was great. After my original post, I was extremely impressed that MedCare had someone call me and gather more information on my experience. It was genuine enough that I was willing to update my review. I left one star off because of that one bad call, but it doesn’t reflect this office (the billing group has work to do) but I would still recommend this office.
My low review is not because of my in office experience but rather some billing practices that truly shocked me. My son and I went in for strep tests. I presented my insurance cards (my son also has a secondary) and reiterated this at the desk. The office visit was perfectly fine and the staff was kind and caring, but I was shocked when I was billed $150 without a statement or notification. I called the Medcare billing office and found out they billed my primary insurance and my old insurance as a secondary, which led to my claim being denied. They’re refiling the claim now but I have lost confidence that they aren’t going to randomly or accidentally bill me at any given moment. Be careful here, yall.“

Ashley has been an incredible occupational therapist for my son. From the very beginning, she has approached him with patience, warmth, and genuine understanding. As a parent, it means everything to work with someone who truly sees and respects your child for who they are — and Ashley does exactly that. She meets him where he is developmentally while gently encouraging growth in a way that builds confidence rather than pressure. Her sessions are thoughtful, engaging, and purposeful, and we have seen meaningful progress not only in his skills but also in his self-confidence. She is very responsive and open to suggestions, making it feel like a team effort! My son has been ‘blooming’ thanks to his work with Ashley! She is an absolute GEM!

“I found the Truesdale Medical Center for PrEP care and STI testing after having consistent, terrible experiences at the Ryan White office in West Ashley. I am SO happy to have found this medical office. I have had 4 appts so far, and every single appt has been wonderful. Each person whom I've encountered has been friendly, helpful, engaging, and efficient. I have never waited for more than 5 min to be called into my exam room. And have had no appt take longer than 30min, start to finish. It's usually more like 20min. I cannot emphasize enough how friendly everybody I've encountered at this office to be. Between being seen nearly immediately, to efficient appts where I feel seen, heard, and most importantly, respected, I cannot recommend this office enough. I used to be an administrator at a Healthcare facility, and I wish that place had run as smoothly as this office. Great job, I'm looking forward to my next appt.“
