What first piqued my interest in the salon was its vicinity to other places I go to; so personally, it was convenient.First impressions really do set the tone- I went in and was warmly greeted by my hairstylist as she finished up with the prior client. When it was my turn, Kim watched and listened patiently as I showed her the several photos of what I was aiming for. She set realistic expectations and explained that it wouldn’t be exactly the same as the photos as hairstyles vary by hair texture, face shape, etc…I was fine with that so I let her do her thing.A picture is worth a thousand words so I’m attaching one of the layered asymmetrical bob that was the end result. Very relaxing and positive experience! Great first impression of the salon and staff. Wide selection of colors/polishes/gels, including OPI. I chose the Green Tea Pedicure, which included a foot soak, feet and lower leg massages [bonus was the addition of the warm rocks], cuticle work, nail shaping, exfoliation to name just a few! Everything one would expect from a pedicure and more. Sam was my technician and I was very pleased with the outcome, and the shoulder massage while my little tootsies were drying was the icing on the cake. I additionally found the prices to be EXTREMELY reasonable. I have had pedicures while on vacation all over the U.S. and throughout other countries and this visit made me feel as though I was on vacation, minus the cocktail! I will be a returning customer! My kids wake up like it’s Christmas morning every time they have haircuts scheduled at Sharkey’s! They ask to go at least once a week lol. The stylists are all great with kiddos and are used to both smiling and crying little clients. Their patience is unmatched! Desiree and Laura have been cutting our kids hair since their first haircuts and they are wonderful! On top of the excellent stylists, the fun car chairs, balloons, and lollipops make Sharkeys stand out amongst other kids cut options. Our daughter loves that her nails are included with her cut so she gets to feel like a pampered princess. I recommend Sharkeys to everyone we know!
I’m always nervous going to new stylists but Nicole really was the best. I don’t know how I haven’t discovered her sooner. I got my money piece done a month ago and it DID NOT come out how I envisioned it but she’s helping me get to my vision and I am so excited! I can’t wait to see the finished process because I know it’s going to be how I want it. She was so kind and gentle and explained everything she was doing along the way, which I really appreciate. (I’ve experienced certain places where the stylist doesn’t even say a peep to you and just does whatever.) I’ll definitely be coming back! I’m so excited that I found this spot!

I was very happy with my haircut. That's saying a lot because I recently moved back to Rhode Island after being married n Tampa the last 19 1/2 years. My son told me to try Louie's so I did. I told him briefly how I liked me hair, #1 on the sides and blend to the top cut with scissors. He hit the nail on the head first time. He has a new and faithful customer from now on. Who is very happy!
I took my 15 yr. Old son here for first time. We were immediately welcomed by both Chris and Connor. They both made us feel relaxed and comfortable! Connor welcomed all my concerns and questions and I didn't feel like I was 'annoying' him at all! Connor also asked my son questions and my son loved his haircut! We found our final barber 'home' Highly recommend!

** I am updating my review after talking with the very nice owner David. He was there to open the doors today (10/14/25) He let us know that he is having staffing issues and he worked out a deal for us regarding the prorate for our package. He now has a sign on the door with updated hours and a notice that he is looking for employment help.
He was very communicative with my husband through texting as well as both of us in person.
It’s important to let the customer know that there are issues interally instead of letting the mind wander about hard earned money being spent on a tanning package with no understanding of why we cannot get the service we paid for.

This salon has the best beds and a convenient location, unfortunately they haven’t been open when they say they are. Out of the 3 times I have tried to go this week they have been open 1 day. I bought an unlimited level 5 bed for myself and my husband- which is about $330 and then the next day they weren’t open- even when the times say they are.
If you can’t staff a business, there should be communication to the customer, the owner should be there to work the hours posted or you shouldn’t be open or taking customers money.
The workers are so friendly, and get the job done as fast as possible and efficiently. Definitely would recommend! 10/10. Go to Shonda! She’s the best.

I've been going to this salon since I was 13. Their parents at the time were running the business. I'm now 37. Jimmy has done a fantastic job on my nails, he remembers the smallest of details every time I go. His wife Tammy gives an amazing pedicure. I would never think of going anywhere else. This was definitely one of the best experiences I have ever had at a nail salon! And it’s only a 10 minute walk from the Crowne Plaza Hotel. I did a spa pedicure and SNS nails with tips added. They were very friendly, efficient, and my experience was very relaxing. They did massages with both the pedicure and the manicure, including a shoulder neck massage which was wonderful. Highly recommend!

This is the only place I come for a pedicure but will only book with Tina. Tina is absolutely incredible. She is thorough and makes sure everything is great. I been coming here since 2016. I have tried other places but there is no one like Tina. I also personally love the pedicure menu. I love that I can get a 20 minute leg massage and chair massage enhancing my self care.

I just went here to get my eyebrows threaded and had a great experience. It's always a little embarrassing for me to get my eyebrows threaded because I have dry eyes that will water at the slightest breeze, and every time I get my eyebrows threaded the water that falls from my eyes could cure a drought. But the woman was very nice and she did a fantastic job, it's been a year or longer since I last got them threaded, and they needed it! The place is also clean, and very comfortable! Definitely come here if you live in the area and need your eyebrows done.

I go to Tracie for my whole head foils and hair cuts. It’s really nice that a hair cut is included in my full foil as is the shampoo, blow dry and style. I have difficult hair that pulls orange for a long time and she’s knowledgeable enough to get the perfect white blonde I’m looking for. My hair cuts are always shaped, and gorgeous and this will be my hair stylist until she retires! Never pay more for less this lady is an amazing hair dresser and person. I always feel welcome and at home in her salon. Her employees are happy and so is she. Vibe checks out.

Ducy is honestly an incredible human. I’ve never gone to a “holistic” therapist but let me tell you, I was missing out. You can tell and feel the difference of your usual massage verse the holistic approach massage. Ducy was personable, she listened to everything I said. She actually listened to me talk the entire time and never once made me feel like I was annoying. I felt completely comfortable and safe with her from the second I met her. I would recommend Ducy over any massage therapist ANY DAY.The day after: Ducy actually reached out to check in on how I was feeling.

My husband took me here for my birthday February 2024 and we had such a wonderful experience. The staff was so personable and friendly; talking with us the entire time and getting to know us. Fast forward to February 2025 and my husband took me there again. It had been a year and the staff remembered us! I was truly impressed. Life has been extremely busy for us so I’ve only been back once since February but plan on going back soon.
The only thing I wish is that I could book an appointment online! Other than that, I have no complaints!!
I come here for my gel pedicures, Kelly and Savannah are both lovely. The salon is clean, tools are clean and sanitized and I never have to wait. My pedicures last forever and never have any issues! Definitely my goto.

If I could give 6 stars I would! Jim is wonderful. Called him Saturday at 430pm for a clogged tub and slow sink, and by Sunday at noon, all of my drains are better than new! Seriously, he exceeded our expectations. Calm ,professional, tidy, efficient and so prompt and friendly! If you are looking for someone to help with your clogged drains, Jim is amazing. I called "Future Floor Surfacing" and talked to Ron, he gave me a fair price and then came out and did a superb job on our dining room floor.
We recently used Excellent Flooring Inc while renovating our property. We visited the store and were greeted promptly and welcomingly by an employee. We described what we were looking for and showed a picture and they offered us several samples that approximately matched the general wants we had in mind. The next time we met them we told them which sample we liked, they came over and did measurements, and soon after got to work on the job. The whole process was quick, easy, and frustration free and the job itself was done in a couple days and pricing was very competitive. I STRONGLY recommend Excellent Flooring to anybody looking for new floors.
I recently hired Barrett Hardwood Floors to refinish badly damaged fir floors in three rooms and two hallways and I couldn't be happier with the quality of the completed work. My wife and I recently purchased floors here for our new house. We couldn't thank April enough for her professionalism and overall help with finding the perfect hardwoods for our home. Not only was she helpful in the store, but very responsive with any questions on the phone and with communication as to when our order was ready to make the whole process seamless.
We have used Rhode Island Kitchen and Bath for three different homes over the past 6 years. Each time we have been extremely happy with their professionalism, attention to detail, follow-through and the ability to complete work exactly on time. The latest project was a multi-room renovation of our kitchen, powder room and the primary bathroom.
Our design consultant, Kingsley Catalucci, has always been a great listener who is collaborative in the design process and takes pride in making the design experience fulfilling for the customer. Scott Erno, who was our project manager all three times, is a consummate professional who cares about his work and is meticulous in completing his work to the highest standards. Scott was on the job every day, making sure that work was proceeding according to schedule and that it was done at the highest level of workmanship. Our design build coordinator, Craig Berube, is very accommodating and helpful. In addition, he caught a number of plumbing and electrical problems that needed to be addressed as well as a gas leak we were not aware of.
Overall, we were extremely satisfied customers and honestly couldn’t imagine having a better experience with the renovation process. From the first design meeting with Kingsley to the on-time completion of the project, Rhode Island Kitchen and Bath exceeded all of our expectations. RIKB is a top notch company from top to bottom and it runs like a well-oiled machine.

Caesar came by today and took care of 3 wasp nests and a pancake nest on my deck in no time! He’s amazing, always polite and so respectful!! Yesterday a big competitor came by and tried to get me to switch but I refused because Arrest A Pest is a wonderful family business that I wish to support and would not leave.

If i could give Rob and Robin 6 stars i would. After rebuilding a house with a troubled past I soon realized the rodent problem of before still existed. After using a billboard pest control company that did next to nothing i was happy to find Rob. He caulked the entire underside of my house to keep mice from getting back in and his control efforts were 4-5 times what the previous pest control company did. I have had traumatic experiences with CCAP. It took me 7 years and chipped front tooth to make go back to a dentist. I have white coat syndrome from it. I looked hard for a reputable dentist and found this absolute gem of a practice, right in my own back yard. They were courteous, reliable, fast, affordable, kind, accommodating, fun, and clean. They went the extra mile and fixed my chipped tooth. 10/10 would recommend.

I had two cats and have been going to AAH for them for a few years. They’ve always been professional, courteous, compassionate and completely transparent. My last visit really took the cake though… My older cat had been sick and declining rapidly for a couple weeks when I brought him in. The staff was very nice and kind as always and Mary Beth (sp.? Sorry if I got it wrong lol) told me what was wrong and was very complete in telling me my options. Sadly, the best option was to put him down. He was too old and sick. The kindness and professionalism really touched me… They even let me sit with him awhile even though they were closing up ❤️ I asked for a pair of scissors and an envelope to take some of his fur and one of the staff provided me with a small vial that I could put the fur in and when I walked out another staff member left her vehicle and gave me such a warm hug because I was there alone. I will tell EVERYONE I know with fur babies to go to Apponaug Animal Hospital!!! Thank you for making my Itty’s transition easy for us all and thank you for giving me time to say my goodbyes. You guys are the best! ❤️

We love West Shore Animal Clinic! They take the best care of our puppy and two cats. Everyone there, from vets to vet techs to receptionists, is wonderfully kind and caring. They take the time to ask and answer questions, providing thoughtful care and making vet experiences positive for animals and owners!
Very friendly and informative with the procedures that need to be done to your animal. They are very pet friendly and are helpful to calm your animal down during the visit. I am very thankful to them to help save my stuffy from her alignments. Very reasonable price for the amount of work and surgery needed.

I Love Dogtopia! I have a 7 month old Bernadoodle and he loves when I drop him off to pay with his doggie friends. The staff is great and very accommodating when I need to make a last minute change and everyone I have met is very nice. The location is great as it is right off the highway.
