It was an absolute pleasure having Michael Lyons work on the restoration of my recently acquired violin. From the first point of communication, he was prompt, courteous and easy to work with. After being greeted by his friendly cat outside of the studio, I was in awe of the beautiful instruments and workshop area. He evaluated my instrument and came up with a plan for the restoration as well as transparent pricing. I very much appreciate the time he took to show me the various parts of the violin and what he planned on repairing. Less than a week later, I returned to pick up my exquisitely restored violin and haven't put it down since! He also educated me on the best way to preserve and care for my violin to keep it in top condition. I would absolutely recommend a visit to this studio whether you are looking for a repair, restore or to purchase an instrument.

Working with him was so easy, and communication was great throughout the whole project. He is reliable, detail-oriented, and treated our house like his own. His work is of the highest quality, and I whole-heartedly recommend his services. We will definitely be giving him more projects in the future!
