“This store was recommended to me by a friend.Huge selection of eyeglasses.The owner of the shop was really knowledgeable about eyeglass frames and manufacturers.He knew who designed my sunglasses, and there was no name on my sunglasses.The shop is very clean and well organized. I didn't feel any rush or anxiety looking around all the shelves at all the frames.He gave me a box to hold all the frames so I could go up to him with however many pairs I liked.I chose about six pairs, and we narrowed it down to one pair in about three minutes. No pressure, no pushiness. Very nice man.My prescription was for progressive lenses, and I also chose to make them transitional. Between the lenses and the frames, the entire cost was $250.He couldn't take my eye insurance because my eye insurance wouldn't let him on to their program. I can believe it because the bigger frame shops / chains are pushing out independently owned and operated establishments.Folks, support your local shop owners. They're the backbone of our communities!“
