“I first met Lou when he was working at JC Penney’s and gave my then 7 year old gymnast daughter the popular “Dorothy Hamil” haircut prior to an important meet (where she went on the win the DE state championships!). That daughter is now 45 and much has changed in all our lives. But what remains the same is my hairdresser! I still go to Lou and, in fact, was there today. He gave me one of the best colors and styles ever, in the 38 years I have known him. He has the amazing ability to figure out what I want even when I don’t quite know what it is. And one other thing I’d like to mention, which is even more important than the great stylist he is. Lou happens to be a really, really good person. “I have only had very positive experiences here. I go to Stevie and she is so talented! Everyone is kind and welcoming. I purchased a color refreshing product from them for home use that turned out to be the wrong color, through no fault of theirs. I came in to get the color corrected and they offered to exchange the product for something else. I didn't even think about an exchange because the product worked, I just chose the wrong color. I was pleasantly surprised and thought that was a kind way to treat a customer. My daughter and her mother now go to Stevie, too, become she makes my hair look so good!“

“I went in for a haircut today after keeping long covid hair for a over a year. I had a picture of my haircut I really liked from a couple of years ago and wanted to go back to that look. I honestly had low expectations and they lowered further when I walked in. The place wasn't the cleanest either (Not dirty but nothing to write home about either). I got concerned because I am a guy and didn't know what I was doing in a saloon primarily meant for ladies. Cathy was my hairdresser. I showed her the picture of myself with the shorter hair I wanted and she got to work. We chatted and exchanged pleasantries throughout the haircut. She has a very nice demeanor and a pleasing personality. She repeatedly asked me, if I liked what she was doing. It looked good with wet hair but I couldn't tell. I got home, took a shower and dried my hair and it looked fantastic! For the first time in 40 years, someone actually listened and paid attention to what I wanted and delivered. I have had haircut that cost me $ 60 or more but I didn't receive the attention to detail and listening skills that Cathy has. I think I have found my hairdstylist!Service: Haircut“
