Lutz's Coal Yard is a business known for its excellent topsoil, which is delivered with precision and care. Customers appreciate their wide range of products including top soil, mulch, mushroom soil, coal, and firewood. The staff is courteous and helpful, providing valuable knowledge and professional service. Notably, their coal is described as clean with minimal dust, and their topsoil is praised for its high quality and lack of fillers. Prices are reportedly competitive. Deliveries are reliable and timely.
Purchased a good quantity of top soil that had to be delivered in two loads. They were able to bring two different size trucks and place the topsoil exactly where I needed it. Most important is that the quality of the topsoil was excellent. No mulch in it for filler, not too sandy, not too much clay - perfect!
I have dealt with the family for years, they have an incredible amount of knowledge and are extremely helpful. They have the best prices around and are very professional and polite, the driver shows up on time every time and delivers in the exact spot you tell them.
Great place. Staff is very courteous and helpful. They sell top soil, mulch, mushroom soil, coal and firewood. I bought ten 100 lb bags of nut coal for $20 per bag ( in 12/2022) and it is some of the cleanest coal I have ever bought (very little dust).
