Mike from Best Contracting thoroughly investigated the situation and determined I had inadequate roof ridge ventilation, nor did I have proper ventilation from the bathroom ceiling exhaust fans to the outside vents. I got 2-3 estimates but I was confident with Mike. He went into that exceedingly hot attic, got measurements inside, and on the roof. He answered my questions with clarity, and patience, was clear as to what needed to be done to correct the problems. He presented himself with confidence, professionalism, honesty, excellent people skills and customer service. He arrived to the site on time, worked conscientiously, and completed the tasks for the day in a timely fashion. His price was reasonable. “KSW took our ideas and created a design that enhanced what we wanted and needed in our house so we can age in place. We now have two safe and very useable bathrooms with handicapped accessible showers, a laundry on the main floor of our house and a powder room, and two walk in closets. We asked for wider door frames and pocket doors to create more floor space. From our first visit with Shayne, I felt our ideas and expectations were valued and always respected. The design process was at times difficult but the design we have now is exactly what we wanted and needed. Joe was very patient and always used his expertise to guide us through change orders. He suggested additions to the design that enhanced the outcome.Shayne and Joe kept us informed of the construction process and when crews would arrive and when each phase of the construction would be completed. The work crews were respectful of our home. I am pleased to recommend KSW for any construction project.“

“Would give these guys 6 stars if I could. Amega has been doing my landscaping maintenance for years and has done so at a fair price and with a ton of care. I recently used them on a major side and backyard renovation which included lighting, stone paths, a fire pit, multiple new beds, sod, irrigation, tree removal, and a ton of new trees. The team knocked out all this work from design to delivery in under a month and did so at a price that I felt was fair and reflected to premium quality they delivered. “This rating is much belated, but not any less glowing. The services & help that we received from the Home One Improvement team went above and beyond our expectations.

My husband and I have had two, bare bones, open storage rooms, downstairs in our bi-level home. Our washer/dryer was in a most awkward hallway position due to the previous owners--and we weren't quite sure how to make that space work more efficiently (and aesthetically) for us.

Tom came out and took measurements, talked us through the whole process of moving our laundry units, updating the plumbing & electrical, and framing out a new (large) reach-in closet. He even brought up aspects of the project that I had not thought of, which was incredibly helpful. Their quote came back at just the right price point. Their crew arrived exactly when they said they would—and they did a fantastic (professional) job of hearing me out about placements and details. They treated our home with respect and crafted that old, drab space into exactly what I had envisioned. I’m especially grateful that their electrician added more lights than I had thought we needed because it has proved to brighten up the space with beautiful clarity.

All in all, we are beyond grateful for our new and improved laundry room/closet area. We have added useful and beautiful square footage to our home. I would recommend Home One to anyone who is considering a renovation, and I will gladly reach out to them in the future when we are ready to tackle our (dream) bathroom renovation as well.“
