About True Color Nail & Spa
True Color Nail & Spa offers a wide range of services, including nail designs and crystal pedicures. With a large staff, wait times are typically short, but there have been complaints about rushed treatments that can affect the overall experience. The staff are friendly, and many customers visit for the massaging experience, although some have noted that the foot massage is often shorter than expected. Despite these concerns, clients have had positive experiences with high-quality nail designs that meet their requests, particularly praising Yoyo for her amazing shaping and nail art. However, there are occasional issues, such as mistakes in foot care and some technicians displaying poor attitudes. A customer recently highlighted concerns about the dip powder nails coming off after just 12 days. The salon has introduced a $25 fee for bringing personal flip flops, which may deter some visitors. Additionally, feedback about the front desk staff indicates that improvements could be made, as some customers have found the male owner to be rude and unwelcoming. Despite these mixed reviews, the salon remains a popular destination for those seeking self-care pampering.
I'm 3 years in. Service is getting worse with attitudes of techs when request comfort level. My nails are thin, so don't use a medal buffer. No good scrubbing of the feet. Tech (Hanna)told me my feet is dry and to use lotion. I'm black and lotions does not work. I use shea butter and my feet are never dry. She didn't want to put any effort in scrubbing. I observed closing time. The man at the front collect all tips, count, and distribute the techs some tips. He keeps some. They rush too much on services causing mistakes like missing top coats on nails or miss 1 or 2. The towels they slap on the necks of customers for a massage are dirty. They use them to shave off fingernail powder with maching while getting a pedi. They reuse the towels all day. Someone can have lice or dirty necks.
