Alejandro and Jose were fast, detail-oriented, and incredibly talented. They replaced an entire wall in my basement and rebuilt it (concrete, waterproofing, insulation, drywall, the works) in two weeks. Not only this, they went above and beyond to re-secure supports under my stairs (that were against the wall), and rebuild my under-the-stairs pantry into a more efficient use of space. Jose and Alejandro's dedication to excellence and precision was evident in every step of the process. Alejandro worked overtime over the weekend to get the job done as soon as possible without sacrificing quality.

Not only were Jose and Alejandro clearly exceptional at their craft, they were incredibly kind and respectful of my space. It's not always pleasant to have workers in and out of your home for projects like these, but I wouldn't have minded another week of them on the job. We called him out thinking the leak would be a quick fix but with each roadblock we came across, he talked us through and ultimately the problem was fixed after 3 hours and an additional trip to the hardware store. He showed us exactly where the problems were, he gave us recommendations on what to replace in the future if we need work done. “David Wickes has done many projects, large and small, around our house. Like many homes in the area, age has caused everything in our house, including floors, walls, and door openings, to go slightly off-kilter. David is always keenly aware of the special issues that an older home presents when repairs or renovations are involved. He replaced our ugly, drafty, metal front door with a beautiful triple pane glass and wood door; he patiently figured out how to hang the new door properly in our slanted door opening. He also replaced a slipshod folding closet door that had been installed during an earlier renovation with a set of bespoke solid wood doors. David seems to take great joy in tracking down the perfect crystal doorknob or time-period appropriate moulding to make our house look its best. (He is also good at reparing damage inflicted on that beautiful moulding by exuberant puppies). I highly recommend David!“
