“Carol Beringer has singlehandedly changed how I exercise. I always thought Pilates was just about stretching. Was I ever wrong! Since I've been going to the studio, I have increased my strength and flexibility and I finally found a way to exercise that I enjoy. Somehow feeling better in my own body helped me to lose 30 pounds too. Double benefits! Pilates & More is well worth the drive!“

“I just finished my first week unlimited trial at Blue Butterfly and would give this studio a 10/10 if i could. All the teachers are amazing as well as the classes. I had never done Bikram before and am now addicted. My back and neck pain was fully gone by the second day of practicing and my body just feels so strong and healthy. One teacher told me the hot yoga practice is really good for inflammation and detoxification and I definitely feel that. Additionally, everyone who practices there is really nice and supportive to new people.“

“Absolutely love solidcore and recommend to anyone looking for a "different" type of workout. I love how challenging this class is and how good it makes me feel afterwards. I have been to a few classes at Bryn Mawr lately and I was warmly welcomed. My only complaint is there are rarely ever deals to save money on classes, it can get a bit pricy.“

“I have been doing pilates at LSF for a couple of months now after receiving a gift certificate from one of my daughters. I had been recovering from a herniated disc that also led to the discovery of mild scoliosis, which is not abnormal for older women, in particular. I took all of these issues to LSF and was rewarded with excellent knowledge and experience helping others like myself work back to a strong, flexible body. While I don't always love it, every instructor has been on me for positioning and form, which is key to not getting reinjured. As a pilates newbie, it's been helpful and I do not exaggerate when I say that I have been mostly pain-free since starting. My only struggle is with signing up for classes. Because they fill up very quickly, it is hard to budget because you need to sign up for a lot of classes in advance, which means you have to pay for a lot of classes at once. (They're certainly worth it and priced fairly.) I have had success with the waiting list, however, and there was only one time I did not get into the class. The silver lining of all this is that clearly people think highly of the classes/instructors and want to get in! I also appreciate that the owner/staff "hear" clients and try to make class policy changes that are sensible and not just penal. It's not easy running a small fitness business, so just them being there as a resource is terrific. They play great music, everyone is super friendly and down-to-earth, and the studio is cute. Thrilled to be an LSF'r and look forward to a pain-free spring and summer unlike last year! Thanks, LSF!“
