“Dominique to the rescue! I had a horrible time with a hair stylist today. My hair looked like a child had done it. I was in panic because I was getting ready to go to a wedding. “Went for my first ever facial, and it was a fantastic experience! Extremely relaxing, and Ruthie couldn’t have been nicer. She explained each step to me and helped give me insight to how to care for face being a very minimalist with self care. She didn’t over whelm me with products, even when I wanted to buy more things she explained why I should start small at first then build on my routine as I gain better habits and routines. She explained the basics and it made so much sense and I was almost embarrassed at 40 I didn’t already know these things! She also explained how ingredients are so important in skin care products, to be weary of TJ Max and those types of places when it comes to products due to potential quality or expiration concerns which again makes perfect sense.100% recommend even if your not a girly girl who “cares” about how you look. This for me was more about feel, and my skin looks insane and glowy and even toned and it’s been 1 day .. looking forward to keeping this up! Thanks Ruthie and Team“
“I looked into multiple options for beauty for my wedding. Admittedly, I was trying to find some cheaper options. I came upon Something You, which ended up being pretty reasonably priced, and I am very glad I chose them as my hair and makeup vendors. As soon as I inquired, I had a telephone call to discuss my options, and from there everything was smooth sailing and very clear as far as contracts and services and how this all works. Every month, I received an automated email, but it gave me info on what would be happening soon, such as scheduling a trial (note - some packages they offer have the trial included; others you pay for the trial separately - I did the latter).The one thing I did like was that they were able to come to where I needed them, at the hotel. Hayley and Heather were on time and such great company to have around to start the day. They really made us all beautiful and let us know so. Everything looked so natural, it was great. If someone needed a touch up or wasn’t sure about something, they fixed it up, no problem.Like I said earlier, this vendor may have cost more than others, but the experience and expertise of the beauticians and the ease of the day that this company gave me made it worth it, 100%.“
