“St. Luke’s Physical Therapy in Macungie was my first experience with physical therapy. I was very hesitant about going to physical therapy until I met my PT, Rick Grubb. Rick is very professional, dedicated to his craft, and compassionate. Not only does he heal you, he also thoroughly educates you about your injury, models every exercise, and explains why that exercise is beneficial to your specific injury…truly remarkable. I was in physical therapy for about a year and a half, due to multiple injuries, and Rick never gave up on me. He continued to remain positive and confident that I would get back to 100%… and he was right! I am thrilled with my results; I was not expecting to be back to 100%! I will never be able to thank Rick enough for everything that he did for me…simply extraordinary!Aside from being an incredible physical therapist, he is a tremendous leader for the staff at that facility. All of the staff members, from the front desk to all the physical therapist, are extremely kind and caring. Everyone, greets you with a smile and a hello. “Transform Rehabilitation was, by far, the best place I have received therapy. Kyle, Tom and all the rest who worked there were very knowledgeable of which exercises I needed to do for my recovery.When I mentioned other problems I was having, they were able to address those too! I received massages, stretches and hot & cold compresses at the end of my sessions.I highly recommend them for any aches or pains you might be having. You will not be disappointed!I had to have physical therapy again during 2023 before & after my knee replacement surgery. Needless to say, I went back to Transform Rehab! “Sadly, ever since the 70s I have had more than my fair share of physical therapy and physical therapists. Priority is the only provider that is not based on the factory model that one finds in hospital-based PT, with one real DPT supervising numerous aides who have limited knowledge of body mechanics. This is not the case at Priority, where from the time one first walks in the door, one is in the hands of a Doctor of Physical Therapy and not part of a herd of patients. No matter which therapist one draws, they are all friendly, welcoming, and not stress-inducing. They do not blindly follow a cookbook, but tailor the program to each patient's needs and progress. I have certain permanent disabilities which they work around elegantly, leaving me stronger and more confident as I navigate public and private spaces. They are particularly careful about painful areas. It may be a bit presumptuous of me, but after a year or so, I feel that they are good friends; in any event there can be no doubt that they are indeed friendly, humorous, and caring: their attitude helps make the sometimes challenging work of therapy more doable. I would recommend them to anyone.“
