“The attic in my home was unbearably hot. After showers water ran down the walls. Mike from Best Contracting thoroughly investigated the situation and determined I had inadequate roof ridge ventilation, nor did I have proper ventilation from the bathroom ceiling exhaust fans to the outside vents. I got 2-3 estimates but I was confident with Mike. He went into that exceedingly hot attic, got measurements inside, and on the roof. He answered my questions with clarity, and patience, was clear as to what needed to be done to correct the problems. He presented himself with confidence, professionalism, honesty, excellent people skills and customer service. He arrived to the site on time, worked conscientiously, and completed the tasks for the day in a timely fashion. His price was reasonable. “From the very first meeting with John, we had a great feeling about proceeding with Forest Ridge to help us design and build our home. Everyone was very helpful throughout the process, and we were not shy about asking a LOT of questions. Every one of John's crew, and those he chose to subcontract with were responsive, respectful, and professional. We were one of the first projects to come out of the initial COVID lockdown, therefore everyone was eager to work and get things done quickly. We started in June and were moved in by Thanksgiving. We were updated regularly on the progress, and always consulted before things were changed. John also did an AMAZING job keeping us to our budget, which was very important to us. We liked the way he developed his proposal to allow us the choice of where we wanted to get certain things such as lighting, flooring, etc. This made the process more fun for us, and also more affordable as we were able to shop around for the best prices for things we wanted. Forest Ridge went above and beyond in laying out what was included in the proposal, and what would be outside of that such as hardscaping, etc. Almost 3 years later, we come down our driveway and exclaim how much we LOVE our home. Shortly thereafter structural work including deep concrete footers and a tie in process to the house beams left me thinking it could support a 5 story building.
