“This 500+ square foot Maple floor was factory finished and installed in our new home in 2006. With two medium size dogs in the home the floor had become severely scratched even though the factory finish was “guaranteed”. Although it took several tries, we finally found a stain color that worked for us. Derrick did an amazing job sanding off the old finish and then staining and sealing with Bona Traffic HD. We were pleasantly surprised that the solution is almost odorless. We had very minimal cleanup when Derrick was finished, and our home was virtually dust free. The job took a full week; and we did not walk on it for a few extra days to allow the Bona Traffic HD to properly cure. We are finding that the floor looks better than new, and after 3 weeks there’s not a mark or scratch on the floor.“

Armondo and Jose were excellent installers of the carpet, taking time to move furniture carefully, taking extra steps to vacuum the carpet several times to make sure all the little carpet loops were all picked up when the carpet job was completed, and very pleasant to work with. I highly recommend FloorMax in Aspen Hill. If you are looking for flooring, please do not pass this store by.“

“This place is huge! The showroom has so many choices of products to choose from. I stopped by and checked out what they had. The staff took their time in helping find what I needed. I found some really great flooring deal$ here for my basement flooring project. I ended up getting a couple boxes of LVP. They made sure I had everything I needed for my project. Definitely a higher quality product and a better deal than the big box stores could ever offer. Arko is now my go-to for all of my flooring needs.“
