I placed one phone call to Neely funeral home and they handled all of the arrangements. We were also very happy with the church and priest they organized for us. We couldn't have been happier with our experience.“

2644 Wylie Ave, Pittsburgh“It is my honor to write this review and I encourage you to read. Losing a loved one, especially your parent is a difficult thing to deal with. Even when you’re grieving, you have to be in “go mode” in order to plan a memorial service. My name is Deborah and I would like to extend my extreme gratitude on behalf of my family to Brandon Mosby and his team. Brandon is a top tier professional and he helped us with every detail as if he were planning a service for his loved one. He thought of details we didn’t, he was patient and also very professional while doing his best to make this an enjoyable experience. I use the word enjoyable because your loved one deserves the best memorial possible and choosing the right funeral home is important. While there are other funeral homes in the city and I’ve been to other funerals of loved ones, this is by far the BEST of the BEST. Five stars isn’t enough!
Brandon Mosby, this is your calling, your gift and we are grateful we choose to entrust you. I also want to add that the entire team, from Ronnie our Limo driver, Ms. Hatley who created the programs, Ms. Diana Moore who sang the most beautiful song selections, and everyone else who had a part in my dad’s memorial service…you all are amazing! Thank you for every detail and your professionalism. We are extremely pleased and forever grateful. I know my Dad is smiling from heaven.“

2630 W Liberty Ave, Pittsburgh“Our young son passed away and we were devastated. The care and compassion we experienced working with Emily, Scott and the Beinhauer family really helped us get through a very hard time in our lives. We will never forget that and will be going back for our own funeral needs in the future.“

4325 Ohio River Blvd, Bellevue“Recently, our Coonhound, Zion passed 14 years old. The Green Pet Funeral Home and Crematory wholeheartedly genuinely prepared him with a crematory service. The high quality wooden box has detailed engraving with his name. There is a beautiful heartfelt poem entitled RAINBOW BRIDGE. The poem describes one day the owner and his beloved pet will cross a rainbow bridge and reunite.
This package also includes a paw print as a keepsake to remind us an everlasting love exists between a pet and his owner. Time will continue but the memories and strong bond can't be broken.
Green Pet Funeral Home and Crematory display the upmost respect for a loved passed away pet. Dave and I are extremely thankful for the love and care Zion was given. Respectfully,
Terri“

700 Linden Ave, East Pittsburgh“When my mother passed away, there was no question who we would trust — Patrick Lanigan. Pat handled my grandmother’s arrangements back in 1979 when I was six years old, and now, all these years later, he cared for my mother with that same compassion, dignity, and personal touch that has defined the Lanigan name for generations.
Pat’s kindness showed in so many thoughtful ways. My children even noticed that he never just referred to them as “the grandchildren” — he always called them by name, which meant so much to them. He was also incredibly compassionate toward my father, who lost his wife of 63 years. My dad is absolutely heartbroken, and Pat treated him with such gentleness, patience, and respect.
Pat is deeply rooted in the community where my mother was born, and he made sure the processional passed down the street of her childhood home — a gesture that touched us all deeply. The entire Lanigan staff was professional, attentive, and caring — down to every detail, even making sure the leaves were cleared from the parking lot before guests arrived. Everything with Lanigan's staff is truly first class.
Thank you, Pat, for helping us honor my mother’s life with such love and grace. You made a difficult time truly meaningful.“

The historic property is very charming for visitors. Ample parking surrounding the building. Fair prices for services. Plenty of places to eat and drink in the area as well. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to the kind directors who helped my family.“

4734 Butler St, Pittsburgh“I think this is one of the greatest cemeteries in the U.S. Such a peaceful place full of deer, beautiful ponds, and incredible statues. I love taking walks through here.“
“English Funeral Home were a great assistance in planning and caring out the funeral services for my parents, both in their 90s. My mother and father lived in a retirement community near Oakmont, while my siblings and I are scattered in various places around the US. Mark, Melissa and Megan walked us through the required paperwork (including creating and publishing an obituary in the newspapers), coordinating with the church for a funeral religious service, and the cemetery for the internment. The visitation was well done prior to the church service, and a funeral procession afterwards to the cemetery was seamless. They even helped us by arranging for a military color guard for my father's (a US Air Force veteran) burial. My family is very grateful for their professional and compassionate service.“

2201 Bensonia Ave, Pittsburgh“Losing a loved one is always difficult. Not only is it heartbreaking but while you're trying to deal with the loss and the grief you also have to deal with the natural process of making arrangements.
Lexi and John were amazing. Lexi took it upon herself to handle all the details, make all the phone calls, filed all papers, made all contacts, helped write the obit and took care of all the details with my Father's internment at The Nation Cemetery of the Alleghenies and eleviated most of the stress.
When Mom passed recently Lexi was right there again and took care of everything.
Lexi and John are considered family now. I couldn't have gone through what I did without them.“

222 Washington Rd, Pittsburgh“Just wanted to thank the entire Laughlin staff who assisted the family members of recently deceased William Sheppard. Laughlin has been there for the entire Sheppard family for generations.
Specifically and on behalf of the Sheppard family, I wanted to thank the Mt. Lebanon staff for a very lovely service. Everything went so smoothly and the staff made sure the arrangements were done with care and compassion.
A specific shout out to Katelyn who comforted the family and specifically me and was in contact with me within about an hour after my father's passing and ensuring me he was in their care. Kaitlyn made took my brother Jack and I through every step and was so very thorough, kind and caring through the entire process. Kaitlyn was nothing short of amazing and the Laughlin organization is very lucky to have her.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much for everything and keep doing what you are doing.“
