I needed to send flowers to my sister and gave Jim's a try. I worked with a very nice lady named Debbie. My only direction was to put together an informal arrangement with the freshest flowers they had on hand, but not to include lilies. They put together a really beautiful bouquet that surpassed my expectations it was probably close to 20 stems of lots of pretty, complementary flowers. And it was less than 2 hours from the time I called until it was delivered to my sister, also in Clairton. There is really something to say about old-fashioned, locally owned small businesses and I'm so glad I found this florist. I will definitely use them again.

Absolutely LOVE this place and the staff here! Dr. Breneman and her team have been so great with my two pups! We recently moved to the area and I was doing a ton of reviewing before choosing a place for my fur babies to go. They only allow one patient/family in at one time, so there is no stressing of worrying about other dogs. Her team is SOOOO amazing with the pups. Everyone comes out to love on your dog, regardless if they will be assisting or not! t’s super clean, small, and quick. I highly recommend this place!!
Jamie (CJMAS Painting, LLC) took care of cleaning my soffit and fascia, painting my garage and man doors and caulking the windows this week. He did a great job. He works so efficiently and quietly. I would not hesitate to hire him again.
My first experience with Rick (R.H.Barkley) was about 10 years ago. My furnace had died and no one could seem to figure out what was wrong. That is until Rick showed up; he kept that old furnace running throughout a very cold winter. He cleaned the furnace and picked up the smallest piece of wire off the floor, he actually left the basement cleaner than it was when he got there. When I saw that I knew we finally had a dependable HVAC professional. March the following year Rick installed a new furnace and A/C system for an incredibly reasonable price.
About five years ago we moved and had Rick come out to check the new furnaces and AC. He cleaned it all up, installed a new modern filter that only needs changed twice a year. Fast forward to April of this year when we had that humid 80+ degree day. When I turned the AC on I got nothing. We were expecting company, including an 18 month old baby boy. I wasn’t sure how the baby would react to that heat. It was a Saturday so I got his service when I called. I was desperate so called another company, and the guy didn’t have a clue. Rick called, came right out and had it fixed within 30 minutes. He immediately knew what the problem was and then took care of going over everything else to be sure we’d be good shape. Another beautiful job at a great price. Simply put R.H. Barkley does an amazing job and has a top notch work ethic. Rick's knowledge and attention to detail is always welcomed and appreciated.
I’m not naming the company that came out first because when they called and I told them how simple the issue was (AC FUSE), they tore up my check, they didn’t have to do that.
We needed some major trimming on our two maple trees and the removal of our apple tree. RBJ gave us a reasonable quote and was able to come within a reasonable time. A five-man crew showed up and made quick work of our trees. Everyone was friendly and skilled. They took care not to damage anything. They worked well around things in our yard that couldn’t easily be moved out of the way (swing, fire pit, stack of lumber, etc). Zack and his crew remodeled our bathroom and we are delighted with how everything turned out. Before we decided to work with La Villa Luxe, we had several contractors stop by to take a look at the project but no one provided a better utilization of the area and work with our budget like Zack. Before and during the project, communication between Zack and his team was easy and fast. They answered quickly to our questions and kept us informed of everything that was going on with the project.
