“I've been plagued with double vision for at least 2.5 years. After trying to figure out its cause with testing ordered by my regular ophthalmologist and neurologist, I finally decided to treat the symptoms rather than trying (in vain) to identify and cure the malady.
I was fortunate to get an appointment with Dr. Melissa Richard, a neuro-optician at Spectrum Vision in Chalfont. She knew that I was there for prism glasses because the double vision started to affect my day-to-day enjoyment of life and daily activities.
Without much fuss and without any guessing, Dr. Richard prescribed the prism lenses that would make me see just one, with two eyes, again. I filled the prescription on-site, with a nice selection of frames and reasonable competitively-priced glasses.
It took about 2 weeks to get the glasses in. When I snapped them on in the car, I was AMAZED that they are PERFECT in every way.
I'd be remiss if I also didn't comment on how very nice kind and friendly Dr. Richard is, in addition of course, to being very skilled in a difficult specialty. I appreciate having her expertise serving our region.”
