“This version of Posh Pets (several owners over 20+ years) is a real treasure. They are tucked away in the Shoppes at Cedars, PA, and operated by the husband/wife team of Miriam and Brian. They are hands-on, low key, with competitive pricing. We don't have wild or demanding expectations for our dogs. Just make them clean, clipped, and ready to cuddle.These are such caring pet people! “All Star Skippack is amazing! We have an anxious little rescue poodle who's afraid of most people but not Lauren! She is so sweet with him and he always looks and smells wonderful when we pick him up. “Sanmann Kennels has been "home away from home" for our various dogs since 1991. Prefer Sanmann over many others tried. When my husband and I first moved to the area in 1990, we placed our golden retriever, Kate, in different kennels. She came home stressed and unhappy or, in the worst situation, ill. Then we found Sanmann. She was a happy, healthy girl on every stay. Used them since for our next four goldens - all with good result.“

“They seem like nice enough people. It was my first visit. The dog came home clean, but smelled like someone dumped a bottle of cheap drugstore cologne on her. Honestly gave me a sore throat from the stench. I called and they told me to wipe her with a wet rag. I did and it didn’t help. I don’t know who would want their dog to smell like this. I’ve never had a groomer perfume my dog so I didn’t know I needed to even specify for them not to do it. Also, they trimmed the long fluffy hairs on her haunches, which I usually love because she’s a lab and it’s part of her look. I’m sure they’re good at what they do, but it’s just not for me.“

The people are so professional and friendly, the facility is clean and organized, and it’s easy to see that the staff and management really care for the dogs. They are also conveniently located, open 365 days a year, and have someone on-site 24/7. My pup comes home happy, tired, and I feel comfortable that he has been well cared for while he is there.“
