“I’ve used What a Good Dog for Manners 1 and 2 with both of my golden retrievers, and I’ve always been so impressed with the entire staff. Every experience has been wonderful. Recently, I scheduled a private training lesson for my two-year-old golden retriever with Mary and Sam, and I truly couldn’t have better things to say about our time together. It was absolutely worth it.

From the very beginning, they took the time to observe and understand the dynamic between me and my dog — even down to watching him get out of the car. In just a short amount of time, they were able to read us so well and give incredibly helpful, thoughtful feedback on how to support his impulsiveness, keep him more engaged, and build a stronger connection during walks.

I’m a hands-on, visual learner, and they went above and beyond to teach and educate me on reactive behaviors, especially around pulling and jumping. They introduced us to the Gentle Leader, which has been absolutely game changing for our walks and has set both me and my dog up for so much more success.

My dog walker came to the session as well, and Mary and Sam were so patient, encouraging, and nonjudgmental with all of us. Their knowledge, calm energy, and willingness to explain the “why” behind everything made the entire experience truly outstanding.

I will definitely be booking another session in December or January and highly recommend working with Mary, Sam, and the entire What a Good Dog team.“

“We have loved Karen’s K9s since stating one of our dogs in daycare in 2018. We’ve since moved twice and live too far for daycare but drive an hour each way to board our 2 dogs. Meg, Steve, Eric, and the rest of the staff are amazing and treat our dogs like their own. The flexibility they offer is also unmatched with always accommodating a last minute drop off, adding an extra day, and being on standby when we were awaiting the arrival of our two human babies. “I cannot say how amazing this groomer is! And I ended that in a preposition… for all those grammatical scholars! Kimberly is phenomenal! Not only is she spectacular with my 4 yr old King Charles but my parents King Charles who has congestive heart failure come for grooming with her. She is amazing with how sensitive his needs are but she loves him the way our family loves him.
We are so thankful to find a groomer that will always be there for our pet before a fee!!

“I brought my dog Hank who was matted and difficult to comb. Angel was my angel. Hank came back with a beautiful cut. Angel took her time and was patient with Hank. She did so good I brought my other two, Dudley and Otto, to her. Each different cuts. Dudley puppy cut and Otto show cut. They too came home with wonderful cuts. I would highly recommend Groomingdales. From Karen who was pleasant kind and helpful to Angel who was patient listened to my request and very professional. Thank you.“

“We recently traveled and were scheduled to board our pup at Noah’s. A few days before we were supposed to leave our dog ate something she wasn’t supposed to which caused havoc to her GI system. After getting a health check from the vet, Noah’s worked with us to accommodate a new bland diet and twice a day medications to settle her stomach. They adjusted our dogs diet over the week to get her back on her regular food and monitored if she needed more quiet individualized play or group puppy play each day. Noahs was really helpful as we figured out how to help our pup and gave her the care that we would have while we were away. I love that our dog can be active during the day with other dogs and not cooped up all day.“
