Not only is she spectacular with my 4 yr old King Charles but my parents King Charles who has congestive heart failure come for grooming with her. She is amazing with how sensitive his needs are but she loves him the way our family loves him.

“I’ve used What a Good Dog for Manners 1 and 2 with both of my golden retrievers, and I’ve always been so impressed with the entire staff. Every experience has been wonderful. Recently, I scheduled a private training lesson for my two-year-old golden retriever with Mary and Sam, and I truly couldn’t have better things to say about our time together. It was absolutely worth it.

From the very beginning, they took the time to observe and understand the dynamic between me and my dog — even down to watching him get out of the car. In just a short amount of time, they were able to read us so well and give incredibly helpful, thoughtful feedback on how to support his impulsiveness, keep him more engaged, and build a stronger connection during walks.

I’m a hands-on, visual learner, and they went above and beyond to teach and educate me on reactive behaviors, especially around pulling and jumping. They introduced us to the Gentle Leader, which has been absolutely game changing for our walks and has set both me and my dog up for so much more success.

My dog walker came to the session as well, and Mary and Sam were so patient, encouraging, and nonjudgmental with all of us. Their knowledge, calm energy, and willingness to explain the “why” behind everything made the entire experience truly outstanding.

I will definitely be booking another session in December or January and highly recommend working with Mary, Sam, and the entire What a Good Dog team.“

I deal with and service groomers in 3 states and she's one of the best groomers I have ever known. Her kennels are well taken care of and she knows her business. “We have loved Karen’s K9s since stating one of our dogs in daycare in 2018. We’ve since moved twice and live too far for daycare but drive an hour each way to board our 2 dogs. Meg, Steve, Eric, and the rest of the staff are amazing and treat our dogs like their own. “This place is SO amazing! Our groomer, Jenna, does such a great job! I asked for a “puppy” haircut for our miniature schnauzer but said I still wanted her to have a little beard and eyebrows. She did such a great job and my husband and I keep looking at her and saying how cute she looks since her appointment! Our dog can be VERY temperamental, and I struggle to cut her nails at home. Jenna is able to cut and file her nails and is patient with her and gives her such a great haircut every time! Thank you so much to Jenna and her team! Couldn’t recommend this place more!“

“I have been using Dr Perkins and her staff since 1994. We are on our fifth dog. Dr Perkins and the other Drs are knowledgeable in all aspects of pet care. They work with the owners in all aspects of the animals care. I have used the boarding facility's as well I have always been happy with the boarding care as well.“

“Had a great experience with obedience lessons at A+ obedience. I can now confidently walk my dog on a leash at local parks without him, dragging me around and without him, barking at every person who walks by. My dog now listens to me when I give him command commands, and our life has truly improved having an obedient pup. Training has also helped make our human animal bond stronger.“
