“I have taken both of my cats to Rivers a few times, and we have had a great experience each time. All of the staff are kind, communicative, and reassuring. I also feel like every vet I spoke to over the years has been both direct and knowledgeable, they do a good job of explaining what’s going on with my cat’s health. My one cat was referred to another org by rivers to manage a chronic health condition, which has greatly improved his health. I’m grateful they were able to identify a possible root cause of his sickness and refer us to long term care. It’s nice to know that I have an urgent care that I trust when we’re having an emergency. Prices can be hard to swallow BUT are similar to other urgent care prices and are much more reasonable than emergency care in the area. thanks to Rivers for all you do!“

“Dr. Joe was absolutely amazing with my Shichon. He owns one as well. That really made me feel reassured Teddy was in the right hands. He answered all of my questions with understanding and compassion. Teddy has been suffering severe constipation issues. He was great giving him his shots and microchip. He treated my puppy with amazing respect and care. I now understand why my Parents take there dogs and speak so highly of Penn Animal hospital. I am now a client for life. “I don’t usually post reviews but feel like they were owed one. I came here for a second opinion on my cat Dallas, and unfortunately (as I feared) he was inoperable and suffering. I had a feeling it would be time to say goodbye, and a few weeks later writing this post, grateful that saying goodbye was with Greentree Animal Clinic.

Dr. Brown was very kind, gentle, and compassionate with me and my soul cat Dallas. He took his time with us and our goodbyes. Walked me through his situation very gently. The vet techs were all very nice as well. It may have been my first experience, although a sad one, but I will be taking my animals here in the future as their primary vet.

She has seen a multitude of my animals - cats, dogs, ferrets, birds, guinea pigs, etc. She is an amazing domestic and exotics vet. Her technicians are also extremely helpful and friendly. They typically always have appointments week of or they have walk in hours from 4 to 7pm for a small increased price. She is my go-to vet, I will always recommend her and this hospital!!“

“I have been going to Doc since 1986 with many kitties over the years. That is 40 years!!! A long time to be an active vet in business. I have never had a problem getting my kitties in to see him. I love him and Cathy. So for those upset about doc going into semi retirement after more than 40 years, plan ahead for routine care. For emergencies, emergency clinics are provided. I have had to use emergency clinics before, but as long as doc is there 3 days a week, he will be my vet.“

“My family switched to Hidden Valley Animal Clinic (and Dr. Threadgill) in 2013, and we couldn’t be happier with that decision. Dr. Threadgill identified my boxer’s lymphoma early and supported me through her heartbreakingly short cancer journey—answering endless questions and working closely with specialists until it was time to say goodbye.
When the day came to say goodbye to my 16-year-old Jack Russell, the staff at Hidden Valley went above and beyond, feeding him brownies left over from a staff meeting so he could take his final breaths with fudge smeared on his chin.
I now live out of state, but my senior parents still bring their bully, Nelson, to Hidden Valley, and I am incredibly grateful for the patience, kindness, and care they show both my parents and Nellie. “Our rescue started working with the Middle Road Animal Clinic team last year. They goes above and beyond for their patients and everyone on the team is so nice, compassionate and really want what’s best for all animals. I respect what Dr. Lohr and Dr. Gephart do for their patients so much that I have started taking my personal cat to them. Pictured is Honcho who is labeled medically reactive. Everyone was great with him and he loved all of the attention.“
