“I should have posted this much earlier but I presume things are about the same except for COVID restrictions.

When my partner had a kidney removed she had a private room,
they encouraged me to sleep in the room. Instead of a
recovery room she came straight to the room and she
had a dedicated nurse (they were busy so she was
actually the head of nursing for the hospital and had
a PhD of her own she was also just published in a Nursing
Journal - about how to spot sleep apnea in surgical patients)
She was in the room until my lady was awake.
We had a small refrigerator in the room filled with sodas, juices, and other food . I can't speak to the cost since she
was in 5 days total and I can't remember getting a bill - we were on
UPMC insurance.

I would certainly agree with US News that this is the best hospital in PA.

“I experienced some problems with one of my hearing aids.
During a visit inn the Beaver office several days ago, a very small crack has been noticed by the Audiologist. She recommended to send it in for repair. I got it back today, works great again! And no charge!
I recommend their services highly!!“
