“I met Katie shortly before I had knee surgery to repair tears on my meniscus. It had been about 6 months of regular pain, forcing me to refrain from running, working out, or even so much as doing a full body squat without pain and/or an unsettling click. Katie worked with me to identify the problems I was having and introduced me to a series of progressively more dynamic exercises to build up my mobility and strength to a level beyond where I was before my injury.Besides her mastery of physical therapy (and the fact that Katie is just an awesome person), these three things stood out to me the most:1: Katie uses a collaborative, educational approach to her work with her clients, and she is a fantastic instructor and coach. Moving my body in new ways was sometimes difficult, but her ability to articulate the exercises using auditory and visual cues was super helpful. Seeing something and hearing it in terms I understood made the process more enjoyable, and especially let me see why certain movements hurt, and how to improve upon them. Real-time cues while doing exercises also helped to hone in on the pieces I might be missing, and especially the pieces I was doing well. Both helped tremendously.2: Katie is extremely patient. Again, moving my body in new ways was sometimes difficult, which often left me spinning my wheels as I tried to get the movements right. Not once did she even remotely seem frustrated or impatient as I struggled. Instead, she showed enthusiasm for even the smallest improvements, and celebrated all of my little wins. It made learning and getting stronger a pleasant experience that motivated me each step of the way. Katie’s office is a safe place that fosters improvement in surprising ways.3: Katie is an empathic practitioner who understands your pain, and truly wants you to get better and be your best self. Knowing that she was on my side, seeing her celebrate my little wins, all of it. Katie made my pain feel understood from the first day, and inspired me to have confidence in both my progress and my potential once I was back in action.I highly recommend Katie for anyone who is ready to feel good in their body. She’s a treasure.“

“Awesome gym for the bodybuilder/power lifter who is looking for a serious training facility. Lots of great machines and even a posing station for BB competitors. Only complaint is that there’s only one squat rack, one deadlift platform, and and two bench racks. This is fine if you’re in there at 6am with just a few people but during busy hours like after work you’ll probably have to wait for equipment. There’s a bunch of cardio equipment that I feel like they could pare down to make space for another rack but maybe I only think that because I hate cardio haha. Otherwise great environment and place to get a nasty pump.“

“Great location. Great staff (Shout out to Tracy). Good selection of equipment. And clean. Up to standard all around at an affordable price. Classes included in package and classes look happy! And Childcare. :) Has wifi go to settings and click the wifi again and the website will auto-populate for sign in prompt.Plenty of beautiful people of all age groups. And that give passerby head nods, clean their own equipment after use, and are respectful of boundaries.It's a 5 star for the price. But 4 stars, in my true opinion, because of no deadlift platform or squat belt. And standard equipment.Remember rating based on what you pay and what you get.Well aware of the clubs with restaurants and smoothie bars.That would be a different review on 1-5 scaling. This is about as good as it gets for a local standard gym in a nice safe area.Recently, had sticky attachments to the cable machine and yoga mats aren't really sprayed down. But I can do that just fine, myself. They have sanitization wipes. I had a black goo on my hand I just wiped off with the wipes and continued.No deadlift platforms. Dumbbells only go to 100 pounds. Those are expensive and the gym only has so much space, so I understand. Very standard leg day selection.Easy/More affordable requests -Please buy resistance bands, squat belts (Safety and promotes healthy form), and a new ankle strap for cable machine. Hot Tub has a weird smell.Bring your own headphones. Customer experience with music may vary as there is a diverse group of customers.Been going for 4-5 years. With gaps in the 2021-2023.Sounds like I missed a bad time with customer service.Gym is up and coming as of today that I can tell. New faces every day. Front desk is nice. The manager was engaged and now he seems more in the background from the reviews I've read it makes sense. haha he was nice to me though when I met him.“
