She will make time to answer all questions thoroughly, and doesn’t make you feel rushed during the appointment. Even when I needed to go in with short notice to get something checked out today, they made time for me, and didn’t make me feel like an inconvenience. “there we were in Portland when I discovered my glasses needed attending to! the lenses were loose and I was concerned they would pop out. I called, got a very pleasant person that said just pop down. so we did, and after meeting jet, the lovely shop dog, we waited our turn and she fixed my glasses and adjusted them perfectly! great service, friendly, professional, and a great selection of frames. sadly, we live far away otherwise this would be my go to spot. highly recommended!“

“I went to the Barbur location first, but Jenni wanted to meet me in Tigard for a larger selection of lenses. Both trips so far have been the best optometric care I've ever had. Very knowledgeable, informative, and invested in their work.

I have a couple unique eye issues- exotropia and nystagmus (both voluntary and involuntary). They were interested in hearing from me on it, and really seemed to have all the knowledge available in the industry. I love when a doc actually wants to teach me about what they're doing.

Personalities are all 10/10. Jenni and Jenna are both super friendly and just a delight to talk to. There was a man over the phone at reception that was very patient with my background noise and audio issues, so props to him, too.

Dr. Freedle was actually great about me being trans, and when I went to the first location, Jenni and I had a nice talk about it. They never used the wrong name or pronouns for me.

They also did their best to get my frames expedited in light of a trip out of state- both the office and the supply lab. That means a lot; I couldn't get off work earlier on to get the order in, so I had to time crunch it.

On a personal note, I had to escape home when I was 18 and have been living fully independent since then; I'm 20 now. It's really lovely when I find a professional establishment that doesn't question this or patronize me, and just talks to me as an adult.“

“I have been coming to this practice since I was a child. It is a small and friendly place to get your eyes checked out. I have always paid out of pocket and they are very clear about pricing for everything. They have very good imaging machines and a basic selection of glasses frames.Both doctors are very friendly and personable. If you come here regularly it begins to feel a bit like family. The place is clean and a very quiet waiting room.Since COVID they do have an extra step of washing your hands when you first arrive and they keep some inner doors open for better air flow and still limit numbers a bit. You will need your mask because everyone in medical practices still need masks.They are located on Halsey and have street parking and a very small parking lot behind the building. If you have a large vehicle, I advise parking on the street.For those with mobility needs, everything is level.“
