I took both the introductory and landscape summer intensive oil painting classes with Ryan Chapman, and they were fantastic. Ryan’s lessons and live demonstrations were informative, but what I appreciated most was his dedicated, individualized feedback for everyone who wanted it. In a very short time, I not only built a solid grasp of the fundamentals, but I also grew immensely as a landscape painter. I can’t recommend his courses enough!

I feel very lucky to have found High Low Art Studio here in Portland. Today was my last class with Chai. Talk about amazing, he is a wonderful instructor.
